Ensure you have a minimum depth of 1-3/4" for inside mounting; for solid wood frames, a single row of brackets might suffice. When ordering an outside mount, specify the desired shade size – it will be 3-5 inches larger in both width and height to fully cover your window and trim.

5. Decide on either a cordless or pull-string system for easy operation.
