BLINDS TYPES: Vertical blinds installed internally will have a 0.4" deduction for a precise fit around the window frame. A minimum frame depth of 2.4" is mandatory for secure indoor installation. If your frame depth is less than 2.4", opt for an external mounting. External mounting is preferred when interior mounting isn't feasible due to insufficient frame depth.

WINDOW SHADE ACCESSORIES: Our shades come with all necessary mounting hardware, suitable for both inside and outside installations.

INSIDE MOUNT PROCEDURE: 1. Measure the inside frame width at three points (top, middle, and bottom), recording the smallest dimension. Deduct 0.4" from this measurement for your ordered inside width. 2. Repeat the process for height, measuring from left, middle, and right sides, and subtract 0.4" from the smallest measurement.

OUTSIDE MOUNT GUIDELINES: 1. Measure the outer frame width, adding an extra 8" for the outside mount. 2. For French windows, measure from 2.4" above the top frame to 0.4" above the ground. Windowsill windows should be measured from 2.4" above the top frame to 4" below the bottom frame. Allow for an overlap for adequate coverage and no light gaps.
